This historic island is home to Moody Gardens, a glass pyramid housing 1,700-plus species of flowers, plants and trees along with 2,000 free-flight butterflies.

To another universe we go with the interactive displays, the Kid's Space Place, a gravity simulator for moon walking, a lunar rover and mockup control of the Space Shuttle, Apollo Command Module and Space Station.
