If you don’t already have it download it now Here - It's FREE
When you have the program downloaded and installed come back to this website and simply click on the icon as described below. Google Earth will open with all of the relevant locations.
You only need to download it once because it will automatically update every time you open Google Earth, provided you save when closing the program and never delete the file from the left-hand menu tree. If that happens, just return to the site and click on the icon again to download the latest file.
How it Works
When you have Google Earth installed return to the Holiday Guide Website
Overview of Google Earth
View any location in the world with this spectacular application that gives you a planet's
worth of information at your fingertips.
Google Earth is a free application that brings a 3D model of the world to your desktop.
After installing the 10MB application, you are presented with a 3D model of the globe, which you can tilt, pan and spin
around with your mouse. Using the scroll wheel lets you zoom in and out with an extraordinary level of detail to
high-resolution satellite images of hundreds of cities, giving users a birds-eye view of streets, buildings,
parks and landmarks.
Click on a link and Google Earth rockets out of your current location and flies you
directly to street level of your destination. See what your own house looks like from space. Tilt and zoom to view an elevation
of just the destination you are considering visiting.
Like any decent geographical information system, Google Earth combines these bitmap satellite images with vector
overlays that represent borders, roads and train lines, and a stack of other information.
A broadband connection is a must.
